Teacher Mindy Camacho, Director

Joined Intercommunal Pre-School in July 2011. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education (ECE) since 1987. She has an Associate Degree in Behavioral Science, over 50 units in ECE, and a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Family Studies. She also has an ECE Program Director Permit, from the California Department of Teacher Credentialing, with a specialization in Infant and Toddlers. She volunteers as a professional growth adviser for ECE teachers in San Mateo County who need to renew their Teaching Permits. Mindy is married, and lives in Pacifica. She has two adult children, one of which is in college. “I love being a director and working with children, parents and teachers.  


Teacher Helen Ng

Joined Intercommunal Preschool in July 2017 as our Deer Teacher.  She has 14 years’ experience with children ages 3 months -5 years.  Helen has an Associate Degree in ECE from City College of SF and a Teachers’ Permit from the State of California.  Helen lives in Daly City with her husband and 2 sons, one of which is college.   “I enjoy contributing my passion of ECE to the children and their families” 


Teacher Alejandra Espinoza

Joined Intercommunal Preschool in 2014 as a volunteer High School Student and began working as Teachers aide a year later. Alejandra is completing her core ECE Classes and has an Associate Teacher Permit. She is now the Assistant Teacher for the Deer Classroom (3-4 yr. old’s). She is Bi-lingual in English/Spanish.  Alejandra lives in the neighborhood with her mom, and her younger brother & sister. “The children are great. I love playing with them and teaching them”.


Teacher Sandra Vultao

Joined Intercommunal Preschool in August 2016 as a part time Teacher’s Aide. She now works in our Kitchen for the first half of her shift and then joins Teacher Mindy in the Pre-K class every afternoon. She is Tri-Lingual in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Sandra is a mom with 4 children, and is considering going back to school to take ECE Classes. “I really enjoy the kids and love helping out around the school.
